A. Our enzymes are a crude mixture of monooxygenase and dioxygenase compounds “harvested” from live bacterial cultures.

Q. What is Dissolved Oxygen In situ Treatment?
A. Dissolved Oxygen In situ Treatment (DO-IT™) is a complicated bioremediation approach that utilizes ETEC’s proprietary biological products and oxygenation technology for rapid, consistent biological cleanup of soil and groundwater.

Q. How is DO-IT™ applied?
A. The DO-IT™ technology is applied by injecting biologically enhanced and oxygenated water into the subsurfac. Preferably, the process will include a closed-loop injection/extraction system, but fresh water injection may also be used. Delivery points include vertical wells and/or horizontal trenches.

A. Yes, the DO-IT™ does work with LNAPL. We strongly encourage continued LNAPL recovery efforts, but the unique oxygenation and biological enhancement process of the DO-IT™ technology will treat the LNAPL in the soil and groundwater.
